Rigid Core is a super strong 100% waterproof floor, designed to be stronger and more stable than standard 100% PVC click vinyl flooring products, this flooring comes with a 1mm built in underlay for quick installation and excellent sound reduction properties. Our Netherby Rigid Core is part of the SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) vinyl collection, this is regarded as the best click vinyl product available as the core is PVC and Limestone powder blended to formulate the toughest, most durable and waterproof flooring option available to buy.
All Netherby rigid core SPC products come with a built in underlay, which makes it DIY friendly and can be laid over most subfloors and even slightly uneven subfloors. The strong click system and sturdy core of the plank ensure this floor goes together very easily without the need to glue together.
Please note subfloors will need levelling if uneven - over 2mm within a 1 metre distance. If this is your floor, please use a structural material such as ply board for wooden floors or smoothing compound (screed) if concrete or wood floors. Some instances, both will be required. Do Not use additional underlay under this floor. as it is a rigid core product and extra compression can result in the floor breaking, same as if the floor is unlevel.
This floor is also excellent above under floor heating as well as in areas exposed to natural sunlight and warm rooms like conservatory flooring (upto 27oC). The very easy Uniclic® installation system makes the product extremely easy to install. Our SPC Click vinyl flooring is waterproof flooring and can be installed over areas which are slightly damp (upto 90% RH) ideal for new build properties and areas of high moisture.
