What Are These DIY Flooring Tiles Made Of?
We have two types of DIY Flooring:
Luvanto Click Plus, which is made from Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) SPC. This is a robust type of flooring.
With integrated acoustic underlay, there is no need to worry about the noise generation normally associated with hard flooring as the underlay reduces impact sound by an impressive 21Db.
Luvanto Endure Pro is also made of SPC. But with a better and easier way to install thanks to its free-floating click system.
Can You Fit These Floor Tiles in Bathrooms, Kitchens, and Utility Rooms?
Yes, both the click plus and endure pro can be fitted in most rooms, thanks to their flexible and waterproof structure.
Just follow the installation instructions carefully to avoid any issues.
How Much Do These Do-it-Yourself Floor Tiles Cost Per Square Metre?
Depending on which type of flooring you choose, prices vary from £67.20 per 2.2m2 all the way up to £105.00 per 1.86 sqm.
Please feel free to contact us using the details below for prices, quotes, and more information.
How Easy Are These Flooring DIY Tiles to Fit?
This type of flooring is pretty straightforward to fit with its clever technology.
Endure Pro can be installed in most areas of direct sunlight without having to worry about issues in the future.
Endure Pro can also be installed over most existing hard flooring, which means minimal disruption and time ripping up existing floors.
What Tools Do I Need to DIY Fit Floor Tiles?
It is also easy to cut without the need for specialist tools.
So we’d recommend a strong but very sharp blade, a straight-edged ruler, and an accurate tape measure.
Do DIY Floor Tiles Need an Underlay? If So, Can You Supply It?
This type of DIY tiled flooring doesn’t require an underlay.
As we mentioned before, this flooring is so easy to lay you can fit it over existing hard flooring.
How Thick Are These Flooring Tiles?
The Click Plus is the thinner of the two.
With a 0.5mm hard-wearing top layer, compared to the Endure Pro, which has a 0.07mm hard-wearing layer.
Can Too Much Direct Sunlight Damage the Coloring of the Tiles?
The Click Plus is recommended for rooms that don’t attract a lot of sunlight.
Whereas the Endure Pro has been treated with an anti-fade material that does not expand with heating and cooling.
This means it can be installed with only a 2mm expansion gap and in areas of direct sunlight, such as conservatories and rooms with large patio doors.
Can These Floor Tiles Be Laid Over Under-Floor Heating?
Yes, both types of flooring can be laid over underfloor heating safely, with no issues whatsoever.
Do the Tiles Click Together During Installation?
With the free-floating click system, you can easily join them together, making it really easy to install these floor tiles (great for DIY installers).
Do These Do It Yourself Floor Tiles Offer Any Sound Insulation?
Both the Click Plus and Endure Pro offer very good sound installation.
The integral underlay on Click+ provides a 21dB impact sound reduction.
This is especially useful in settings where noise can cause issues and saves on potentially buying additional soundproofing products.
Where the Endure Pro has an integrated acoustic backing that provides one of the highest ratings on the market 22 dB of sound reduction, without having to use an extra underlay.
How Hard-Wearing Are They? How Long Do They Last?
Both types of flooring are especially hard-wearing.
But not only that… Both types of flooring come with a 25-Year Domestic or 10-Year Commercial Warranty.
