They are very easy to clean and are both heat and fire-resistant, which makes them a good alternative to glass, acrylic and tiles.
What Are Alusplash Splashbacks Made Of?
AluSplash is an aluminium-based product which is made up of three main layers.
The main layer is a fire-resistant core which is sandwiched between two skins of aluminium.
To finish off the alusplash, it is coated in a proprietary paint which not only gives it a nice glossy finish, but the paint is also heat resistant and anti-bacterial.
How Hard is it to Cut Alusplash?
Alusplash isn’t that difficult to cut. It's easy for any skilled tradesman, and most experienced DIY installers will find it doable.
However, when cutting it, you must ensure that you have a nice smooth finish to prevent scratching any surfaces or causing injury due to any sharp edges or splinters from the aluminium surface.
